Job details Google Ads Advertising Consultant, Review & Coaching Only (No Management, No Agencies) Management Consulting Posted Apr 29, 2026 Job Description I’m running our company's own Google Ads account for our small business, and looking for a senior Google Ads operator to review my work and guide optimization decisions. I have a lot of experience with Google, so I know my way around the platforms for a few years, I am not a complete newbie. This role is advisory only. You will not touch the account. You will not “take it over.” You will not pitch automation or management. I want an experienced Google Ads professional who can review my campaigns weekly, point out mistakes, and explain what to fix and why. If your default instinct is to manage the account instead of teaching, this will be frustrating for both of us. What You’ll Do: Review live Google Ads campaigns weekly, together via a zoom call with screen sharing. Call out structural mistakes early Pressure-test keyword strategy and negatives Critique ad copy, extensions, and intent matching Review bidding and budget logic Sanity-check conversion tracking and signals Give blunt, practical feedback I value accuracy over politeness. What This Is Not: Not account management Not an agency role Not a junior learning engagement If you outsource, delegate, or white-label, don’t apply. Account Context: B2B only IT networking equipment US-only Buyers are IT teams and MSPs Longer sales cycles, high intent searches Required Experience: Hands-on Google ads experience (not inherited accounts) Strong keyword and search term discipline Comfortable disagreeing and explaining why B2B experience strongly preferred I’m seeking an experienced Google ads consultant to provide ongoing review and optimization guidance while I personally manage and execute the account. This is a consulting and coaching role, not account management. The goal is to build Google Ads correctly from the start and avoid wasted spend caused by structural or intent mistakes. Scope of Work: Weekly review calls (30–60 minutes) Answering question in-between meetings if appropriate Campaign and keyword structure review Search term and negative keyword strategy Ad copy and extension feedback Audience and bid strategy review Conversion tracking validation You will review, critique, and advise. I implement. Account Details: B2B ecommerce and lead generation IT products, 2 brands. US-only targeting Buyers include IT departments and MSPs Moderate deal cycles Ideal Background 3+ years hands-on Google Advertising experience Proven Google Ads optimization work B2B search experience Comfortable explaining tradeoffs and mistakes Engagement: Weekly initially Long-term advisory relationship possible Hourly or retainer, open to discussion lessMore/Less about View job posting Intermediate Experience level $40.00 - $68.00 Hourly range Less than 30 hrs/week Hourly 3 to 6 months Project length
